On a chilly Saturday morning in mid-March, over 20 volunteers gathered at Everett Park in South Lansing to assist in a Lansing Soccer Club workday. As one of the seven Lansing Love Your Block grantees, Lansing Soccer Club is taking ownership of a practice and tournament site for them, Everett Park. Led by Bruce Winters, they plan to have some neighborhood friendly enhancements such as trash picked up, the work shed painted, and the field in working condition for the players as well as Lansing residents.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves!
